Story

The Musical Originals Training Choir, winner of the 2016 BBC National Children's Choir of the Year, have put together an arrangement of 'The Lion Sleeps Tonight' while in lockdown. The Jersey Zoo is such an important place for our choristers and their families - as it is for the world - and we wanted to do something to help!

Jersey Zoo is fighting for survival and urgently needs help to care for the animals. It costs £130,000 a month to look after the 1,285 animals at Jersey Zoo, which are some of the most endangered species on Earth. Jersey Zoo was founded by Gerald Durrell as the first conservation themed zoo over 60 years ago but right now their work and mission is in jeopardy and they urgently need help to ensure that Jersey Zoo can endure this crisis.
