We've always been supporters of cancer charities, but cancer has got personal for us in the last 12 months.  Last year, Davy (Melissa, Laura, Carly Bird's dad, Michelle's husband) was diagnosed with kidney cancer.  The kidney was removed in November and thankfully Davy is on the road to recovery. However we also lost a dear friend of ours in March this year, Mike Sutherland (Carly Eyre's dad) suddenly to thyroid cancer.  Cancer is cruel, mean, scary, ruthless and unfair and we'd like to raise money to help kick its arse.

We (Carly Bird, Melissa MacFarlane, Laura Hodson, Michelle MacFarlane and Carly Eyre) are running the 5k Sefton Park, Liverpool Race for Life.  When we say running, we mean 'running' (walking, crawling etc.) and also pushing our sister around a non-wheelchair friendly track in her wheelchair.  But we'll do it, and we'd love you to support us.  Please donate whatever you can to our page xxxxx
