We are a group of 16 year old students taking part in a summer programme called National Citizen Service. As the last part of our experience we are completing a social action project and for this we have chosen the charity Sue Ryder. Sue Ryder provide incredible hospice and neurological care for people facing a frightening, life-changing diagnosis. It’s not just expert medical care that they provide, it is the emotional and practical support too. Sue Ryder is a very personal charity for our group and is close to many of our group member's hearts. The charity works to help those suffering from diseases as well as supporting families through the tough journey. Volunteers at Sue Ryder work incredibly hard to support everyone however require help from fundraising to keep the charity running.
