In 30 days can you walk, run, cycle or even skip 30 miles for Havens Hospices? Take on Havens Hospices 30 in 30 virtual challenge so we can continue Making every day count for everyone we care for.

Story

Myself, along with 4 friends, will be dusting off our running shoes and challenging ourselves to each run 100 miles within 30 days, starting on Monday 11th May.

Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Havens Hospices Southend Half Marathon has been postponed in which Reece, Seb and Alex were meant to partake.

As a result, I have agreed to join them and support Havens Hospices virtual '30 for 30' event, setting our personal target of achieving 500 miles between the 5 of us and raising £1000 to help support the organisation and event.

During these difficult times, Havens Hospice workers are still tasked with making every day count for both the patients and their families. Every donation that the hospice receives- whatever amount - helps them to continue providing incredible specialist palliative and supportive care as well as supporting the NHS.
