Story
THE SPEED SQUAD needs your help! On Sunday 28th June, Alannah, Amelie, Lottie and Fearne will join more than 750 other inspirational young people to take part in their first schools triathlon.
They will swim, cycle and run to raise funds for Restless Development, a non-profit dedicated to providing young people with the resources to bring life‑changing improvements to their communities, and for Cardiac Risk in the Young, a charity close to the hearts of all at Gawsworth primary school.
Mia Jennings was a former Gawsworth pupil and beloved Macclesfield swimming instructor who died aged 19 following a sudden cardiac event. CRY is the school's nominated charity for 2026.
With your support our fabulous Gawsworth girls can make a meaningful difference to the lives of young people through the work of both charities. Donate generously to help them carry the torch for Gawsworth this summer!
