The Swan Community Pub in Windsor will be taking on many ridiculous events to raise money for Children In Need. 

To kick things off... we are attempting to Row the length of The River Thames on a rowing machine in our Coach House (217miles/350km) in 12 hours! Starting at 10am, Micky (General Manager) will kick things off to get the waves in motion. We are still on the look for budding rowers to help out, if that's you... please email Micky on children.in.need@theswanwindsor.co.uk. The Windsor Boys school have very generously donated us a second rowing machine AND their time in the evening to show us how its done. That does mean we have a spare machine for the day if you fancy giving it a go with us!! A crazy challenge that we are all very excited to start!

We will also be hosting 'The Dogs Dinner' where you can bring your Furry Friend to get a meal for a donation.

Later in the day at 6pm, Micky will be getting his legs waxed for £2 a strip and YOU get to rip it off (below the knee only... don't get any ideas!)

We also have 'The Free Ranger' coming in and giving us an evening of Live Music! He is here on no charge and is only asking for donations to be made to children in need. His usual gigs are on the streets of Windsor where he raises money for the Homeless, allowing them to take the cash straight from his guitar case, what a guy. And to top it off... Random Quiz Rounds from 6.30pm then on the hour with prizes for the winning teams throughout the night.

Micky and a few of the team will also be donating half their daily wages to Children In Need on Friday 19th.
