We are a part of a team called 'The Tumournators' and are raising money for Maggie's Centres by doing the Great North Run on 9th September 2018.

Maggies provides free practical, emotional and social support to people with cancer and their family and friends. Built in the grounds of NHS cancer hospitals, Maggies Centres are places with professional staff on hand to offer the support people need. 

There are 20 centres at major UK NHS cancer hospitals in the UK and abroad, including Maggies Newcastle, which is based at the Freeman Hospital.
