HELP US BUY AND RESTORE HOME OF RARE FLOWERS AND BUTTERFLIES
Some of the most stunning wildflower displays in Britain were once found on the chalk grasslands of Bedfordshire. But most of this precious habitat has been lost - 80% per cent in fact.
Today you have the chance to help us save and restore a significant piece of this natural heritage.
We need to raise £65,000 to buy and restore a vital extension to our Totternhoe Quarry nature reserve - home of an amazing variety of rare wildflowers and butterflies. Buying this extra 18 acres will allow the beautiful and rare wildlife to flourish and colonise new areas. (Please do take a look at some of the breathtaking wildlife photos on this page.)
Your donation will help us to buy this land and begin a programme of restoration to transform the whole area. It will be a lot of work, but with your help it could become one of the most wildlife-rich nature reserves in Bedfordshire - teeming with rare orchids, butterflies and other colourful wildlife!
This is such a wonderful opportunity to make a huge difference to the wildlife and natural heritage of Bedfordshire.
Please give what you can to help make this possible. Thank you!
