Story

This year Annabel, Charlotte, Ginevra and Olivia, (The Winning Stars) are taking on a really exciting triathlon challenge.

They will be swimming, cycling and running as a team and raising money for Restless Development and their school's chosen charity, together they are making a huge impact on the world.

When and Where?

Sunday 8th of May 2022 in the grounds of Charterhouse School in Surrey.

Who are the Winning Stars?

The Winning Stars team is made up of four girls; Olivia, Ginevra, Charlotte and Annabel. They are all aged between 7 and 8 and are currently in Form 3 in school. The Schools Triathlon on the 8th of May will be their first ever triathlon. They must all complete in each section of the triathlon, a swim, a bike ride and a run. The four girls will each be completing the following distances:

  • Swimming: 50 metres each (200m total)
  • Cycling: 1000 metres each (4000m total)
  • Running: 750 metres each (3000m total)

The girls are working hard in their training in order to complete the challenge on the day. They would love and appreciate any support that you could offer them towards their fundraising for Restless Development.

  • Youth-led accountability – Young people are supported to advocate and hold decision-makers to account.

  • Youth-led research – Young people capture key insights on issues that matter most to them, and use it to inform policy and practice.
