Cheka Sana believes every child deserves a safe and stable home. Between June and August 2021, we are challenging EVERYONE to give up their bed for a sleeping bag for just one night and raise money to help street children in East Africa.

Story

"Be In Their Shoes: Sleep Out Challenge" is a brand new fundraising campaign for Cheka Sana Foundation that aims to raise awareness and money for street children in East Africa who have been disproportionately affected by the COVID19 pandemic.

Like Cheka Sana, I believe every child deserves a safe, warm and stable home. Thus, I join Cheka Sana Foundation to challenge EVERYONE to give up their bed for a sleeping bag for just one night if you can and raise £100. This could enable the charity to pay for a safe place for a child to sleep, provide food, sanitary towels and pads. As well as support the child’s education, provide mental health therapy, and family reunification

REMEMBER! Sleep Out is a fundraising challenge. Therefore whatever you do, does not replicate what it's like to sleep rough on the street, but it gives you or a child an idea of the situation a lot of children and young people find themselves in across East Africa.

Your one night SLEEP OUT could help a homeless child turn his/her life around forever. Are you up for #CSFSleepOutchallenge?
