The Virtually 24 Hour Board Game Marathon goes LIVE on 25th July at 9am 2020
The 24 Hour Board Game Marathon goes LIVE once again....well virtually!!
As I'm sure you all know, a very sad and tragic pandemic has swept the globe and affected millions of lives. It has impacted many of us, from our loved ones, to our favourite eateries, local shops, bars and pubs and last but not least, charities.
Our annual event, The 24 Hour Board Game Marathon, a charity event, playing as many board games as we can squeeze into 24 hours while raising money for Cots for Tots, was sadly cancelled this year like thousands of other events.
We've raised almost £5,000 each year for Cots for Tots. They rely on this money to help hundreds of families whose new born babies have had a difficult start to life. This helped to us when our son Archer was born. However this year as we've cancelled we've not been able to raise that money for them.
So that's when Virtually The 24 Hour Board Game Marathon was born! If we can't host our event in the normal way, let's do it a different way!
For 24 Hours myself Dan Apsey, my usual live stream co-host Ben Travess and many others will be gaming for Cots for Tots over the internet using our Computers, cameras, mics and anything else we can get our hands on! And you can join in too!
This page has been created to raise money for Cots for Tots! Any money you could spare will go to an amazing charity!
