3 bridges challenge · 4 January 2008

Thank you for choosing to support Yorkshire Air Ambulance (YAA). As a charity YAA relies on the generosity of individuals & organisations to help save lives across Yorkshire. Thank you from the team YAA.

Story

HI All,

We are back, but things are a little different this year, last year we brought you the 3 borders challenge, this year its the 3 bridges challenge (original, don’t you think)
It’s as easy as it was last year to donate, and pay in your sponsor money, just follow the instructions below. Please dig deep and sponsor me and your mates online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Yorkshire Air Ambulance Charity will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks

Right this is the challenge,

The idea is to get to 3 prearranged bridges in 24 hours and back to your start point within the allotted time, this may sound easy, but its not. The 3 bridges are scattered all over the country, in no particular order, the bridges are:
The Humber Bridge, The Forth Road Bridge and the Seven Bridge, then you have to get back to your start point.

At your start point take a photo of your bike and the support poster with the time you started and your mileage, then set off to your chosen first bridge, once you’ve crossed it take another photo of your bike with the bridge in the background, you continue like this until you arrive back at your start point having crossed all 3 bridges,

So what do you think? Last year we raised £1770.57, most of the riders from last year are eager to do this one, all of them agreed that there was an immense sense of achievement when they had completed the ride, so why not be one of them this year and help us reach our target for the YORKSHIRE AIR AMBULANCE.
