We stand for everyone affected by dementia to find a cure

Story

We are cousins. We got together to do something positive, and have a good time while we do it. We were inspired by the amazing man who is our grandfather (the smiley man in the picture below, with our grandmother). As for dementia:

Think of your favourite colour. Your favourite recipe, the one you can whip together for a last minute dinner party. The best holiday you've had. Think of the birth of your children. Think of what you like to do on a Sunday morning. Think of your best friend. Now, forget it all. It's gone.
Everything that makes you YOU has faded away. You will forget your name. You will stop being able to read or make a cup of tea. You will have mood swings.

This is not the only picture of dementia, but it is one. It is a DEVASTATING disease, for those who have it and for their family and friends. We need the science to stop this. Get involved.
