Story
Fearfully, studies suggest that 1 in 3 people will be diagnosed with some form of cancer in their lifetimes.
We are a team of highly motivated students from Nottingham Trent University with an aim to raise money for the John van Geest Cancer Research Centre.
Their research centre is a unique purpose-built scientific facility in the East Midlands which aims to save lives and their main focus is on speed recovery that is done improving the early diagnosis and developing alternative treatment options.
The research they do, in a team of world class scientists, is very likely to have a world wide effect on breast and prostate cancer treatment options.
