Event: Bethany Big Sleep Out, on 20 March 2020
Sleep Out to end homelessness in Scotland

Story

Hello everyone,

On the 20th of March, Anna , Kieran and I will be sleeping out in George Square in Glasgow city centre to raise money for the Bethany Christian Trust.

The charity are working to end homelessness in Scotland, by providing support, warm meals and much more for anyone who needs it. This is the first year the event has ran in Glasgow, so let’s raise some awareness.

Spending one night outside seems like a difficult experience but spending weeks, months or years in these conditions is just unimaginable. Any help getting towards our target, as well as Bethany Christian Trust’s goal of ending homelessness, would be fantastic 🙌🏼

Thank you so much guys x

The experience will be challenging, but it is nothing compared to what those who have to sleep rough have to go through every night. For us, this may be our worst sleep ever, but this is the reality for many people in Scotland today.By taking part in the Sleep Out you are helping Bethany end homelessness in Scotland one person at a time. An example of what your donation could do is;£21 could provide a hot meal, a safe, warm bed and specialist support for someone who would otherwise be forced to sleep outside. £75 could pay for a weekly drop-in to support homeless and isolated people gain skills and build confidence. £250 could fund 3 months support for someone who has been homeless and is resettling in the community. Please support Bethany's essential work in ending homelessness in Scotland, one person at a time.
