The Big Fifty is a mad idea the eldest daughter of a wonderful woman had whilst sitting in front of the TV. That wonderful woman being, Lindsey. Lindsey lost her battle with pancreatic cancer just 4 months after diagnosis in 2016. However, she passed away peacefully and comfortably, thanks to Wrexham's local hospice... Nightingale House. Nightingale House didn't stop after the passing of Lindsey. They continued to support the family throughout bereavement and still continue to support whenever it is needed. In our opinion, more families should be able to receive this service. But that costs money and they rely on donations and fundraising to keep their wonderful place running. Lindsey will be turning the 50 this year.In memory of Lindsey lets have the best 50th birthday she could have ever wished for and raise money for Nightingale House whilst we're at it! Starting January ending in December, 50 events will take place and all will be in honour of Lindsey Cranston Jones, raising as much money as we an for Nightingale House Hospice.
