We change children’s lives every day by pioneering ground-breaking medical treatment in a comfortable & engaging environment at Sheffield Children’s. All the money raised helps create a healthier future for children & young people, funding projects that are over & above the standard NHS provision.

Story

5 people who are terrified of heights are doing a 15,000 foot tandem skydive on Sunday 18th July 2021, to raise money for Sheffield Children's Hospital. All money donated will go towards the current renovation of Ward 6 - the Oncology/Cancer Ward.

The jumpers are:

Daisy Walch

Steve Walch

Richard Earl

Paul Hurst

Nathan Ennis

Steve and Daisy are Dad and sister of Harrison Walch

Richard is the Dad of Bobby Earl

Both Harrison and Bobby have received Stem Cell Transplants on Ward 6/Oncology Ward. Harrison was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia in April 2019 and Bobby was diagnosed with Aplastic Anaemia in the same month!

Paul Hurst is Rotherham United legend and Manager of Grimsby Town Football Club

Nathan Ennis is a close friend of the Earl family and has stupidly agreed to take part in this!

The Oncology ward is in desperate need of refurbishment. All of the kids who spend time on the ward are going through the worst time of their lives... With your donation, you will help to transform the ward into a more comfortable and pleasant space that has better facilities for the patients, families and staff.

Thank you!
