Half Term litter pick · 22 February 2021

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

“Some people in the world don’t really care about the environment and drop their litter on the ground. We want to help the environment and make where we live nicer” (Emily age 6)

“We wanted to raise some money for Alzheimer’s Society to help our Nana and people like her with dementia. If you can spare a few pounds to help us reach our target then it will make us very happy”  (Alice age 8)

Alice and Emily have decided to spend an hour every day during half term (10 days, including both weekends and the inset day on 22nd February) picking up litter from our local streets and parks, whatever the weather.  This was all their idea, to make a difference during the lockdown, and raise some money for a charity that means a lot to them.
