Craig patterson is raising money for Extern
In memory of Eoin Boylan
Campaign by Extern (RCN HMRC Registered)
The impact of coronavirus has already been dreadful for many of us, but imagine if you were homeless, already struggling with mental health issues or living with the challenge of problem drug or alcohol use.

Story

So,

I've been raising funds for charity since I was a tot. Organising rock nights in my early teens, participating in full body waxes and head shavings, climbing the 3 biggest mountains the UK in 24 hours, competing in triathlons, growing my hair for children with cancer and completing gruelling gaming marathons online.

The loss of a friend has spurred on my efforts of late. The idea of bringing positivity from something painful, advice i always give my friends and which I am now taking myself.

Mental health, homelessness, addiction, suicide and crisis.. Things that have effected all of us or people we know at some point. Extern are a charity that have services across Northern Ireland helping those experiencing all of this. Counsellers, shelters, crisis intervention teams and so much more. They provide it all.

"With the world so set on tearing itself apart, it don't seem like such a bad thing to me to want to put a little bit of it back together"

We're continuing this campaign through 2023 and 2024 ending the whole thing in a glorious SKYDIVE. I'm terrified of heights. We have plans for several big challenges coming to fruition, we'll have more streams with potential for some serious talks - podcast like things - revolving around mental health. Stay tuned, follow my socials for updates as we go.

I am once again... asking for your financial support. All these things affect YOU. So help us. Help ordinary people going through hardship. Help me do something good.

This if from the internet to you..

Thanks for coming on this journey with me.
