The Big Uni Move · 16 January 2021

Student Minds empowers students to build their own mental health toolkit. We also challenge the higher education sector, health sector, and government to make student mental health a priority. Together, we’re improving university communities so that no student is held back by their mental health.

Story

February 15th -  March 8th

With over 300 students taking part, ‘The Big Uni Move’ is a 2-week competition during lockdown between UCL, KCL, LSE and Imperial = to see which University can achieve the highest active time from running, cycling or walking on the app, Strava.

In this way our aim is to:

  • Improve the mental health of students in lockdown through incentivising exercise
  • Raise money for a charity which aims to support the mental health of students across the UK
  • Build a community of students to make people feel less isolated during lockdown

We hope that all participants can make a donation here and then get started!
