On the 20th June we will be walking the Giants Head Marathon route, as sadly the event has been cancelled this year. This has been a huge annual event in our village for the past 7 years. We have been involved as the' Breakfast Crew,' providing over 1600 bacon sandwiches and 100's of bowls of porridge for the runners over the years. 

Recently Marie Curie nurses have provided invaluable support for families in the village. One closest to our hearts is Herbie Tucker, a very popular village character. 

The Giants Head marathon is a gruelling 27mile plus, trail ultra marathon, including 10 significant hill climbs. Not to be tackled by the faint hearted!
