The Living Well with Dementia Hospital Appeal is raising funds to improve the facilities and environment for patients living with dementia at Shropshire’s two acute hospitals.

Story

Our annual multi-event charity fundraiser returns again in 2017.  This year our chosen house charity is Dementia Appeal, supporting local services helping people live well with dementia.

The Butterfly Effect is a term which is used to describe how small actions can have a huge effect later on.  This is very much the principle of our event and the appeals we fundraise for.

Once again, our day brings loads of people together to do a great thing...a real social movement.  To encourage this further, we are making the event even more accessible and flexible.  Choose your distance, then how you plan to travel the distance, and you have you event.  Choose from a walk, a run or a bike ride over distance of 50 mile (bike only), 35 mile (bike only), 18 miles, 9 miles or 5k
