Story
Ok so heres an update people :) i litterally ran it and did every obsticle even one that i never thought could do pulling my own body wait up an obstacle with just like rope and hands up giant bouncy castle style slope to get to slide down the other side anyway i was really impressed with my self i did it (i timed it on my phone ) 59min 22 seconds not bad considering never ran an event like this before and i would do it again in heartbeat was amazing exsperience and id like to thank those who have donated and are donating still :)
I made the decision to take part in my first ever fundraising event because I want to do something for a good cause and help towards make a difference.
I came into contact with a local family who lost their daughter, Mia Ella Samuels to Leukaemia. In October 2009, Mia was just four months old when she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL). Mia then spent months of undergoing very intensive chemotherapy at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge but tragically lost her fight against Leukaemia in June 2010, at the age of one year old.
Following the loss of their daughter, Mia's parents Nicola & Ben Samuels set up Team Mia which is dedicated to ensuring Mia's legacy is kept alive and is never forgotten by organising fundraising events in memory of their daughter and donating the proceeds to Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.
I am honoured that Mia's parents have agreed for me to take on my own personal challenge to help them raise more money in memory of Mia and for a charity that won't stop their research until they find a cure!

The Event
On Sunday 14th June 2015, I am taking part in a 5k Colour Obstacle Rush at Willen Lake in Milton Keynes.
There are
10 obstacles in total along with 9 colouring stations throughout the 5k course.
I will be pushing through foam and getting doused in coloured powder whilst
climbing giant inflatable slides, leaping through bouncy castles, climbing up
and down nets, crawling under inflatable beams, digging through a giant ball
pit, plus more!
About Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research
Leukaemia & Lymphoma
Research are the leading charity
dedicated to improving the lives of patients with all types of blood cancer.
Around 450 children are diagnosed with Leukaemia in the UK every year. More than half of these children are under the age of five years old. Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL) is the most common type of Leukaemia to affect children, accounting for more than 80% of all cases. Infants younger than 1 year with ALL have a particularly high risk of treatment failure.
Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research are currently investing more than £17 million into research across the UK to beat childhood Leukaemia. This includes building on their understanding of why some children develop Leukaemia, finding new and less gruelling treatments and funding the latest clinical trial to treat all children in the UK diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL).
How you can help
With your support you can help make a huge difference. All money raised from my Colour Obstacle Rush will enable Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research to continue their vital research in finding a cure that saves lives.
PLEASE help to make that difference! You could help reach a day when no other family has to go through the pain of having their child diagnosed with Leukaemia or losing them to this devastating disease.
You'll see my fundraising target at the top of the page and I would be extremely grateful for your support and any donations are welcome, no matter how big or small.
Thank you very much for your support towards such a worthy and critical cause.
