Transform Trip 2013 - The Community Church Youth

We are taking a team to Malawi next summer as a Transform project - going out to work with existing TearFund projects. We will be going to work with the Eagles Malawi project getting involved with what they do for the local community. We'll be leaving at the end of July -mid August 2013. Here's why the different team members are dong the project:

Jenz: Having done different trips in the past I know how much they have impacted me. My hope is that the trip to Malawi next summer with impact the young people in a similar way - and that we might help make a difference to the community there.

 

Tim: I am going to Malawi with a team of young people because I know how much of an impact a person can make for other people. But if I manage to make just one person smile...my trip is worthwhile.

 

Eileen: Having come from a humble background in Africa, I know what it's like to be in need. I feel I have the opportunity to help and I would like to offer my support to improve the lives of those in need.

 

Simon: I am so excited about going to Malawi - it's going to be a fresh experience for me and it's completely different from anything else I've ever done before. I hope that the trip will bring us all closer together and closer to God.

 

Emma: I'm wanting to go to Malawi because it's a way to make an impact on people's lives and is a great opportunity to help other people who are less fortunate than us. :)

 

Beccie: The reason I chose to go to Malawi is because it's a good opportunity to go and actually be able to help people in a different country. :)

 

Hannah: I am looking forward to this because I want to see how I can use my skills and talents to help others and make a difference.

 

Jeff: I can't wait to go to Malawi to check out what's going on and to contribute to helping out there.

 

Theo: I can't wait to be over there helping those less fortunate than myself. Just from the planning alone I'm excited. It sounds fantastic so far. I couldn't be doing it with better people :)

Holly: I want to go to Malawi because I know that in this country we have far more than other parts of the world and I want to make a difference. I'm really excited to meet the people there and get to know them.

Steffi: I think this is a unique opportunity and I don't want to miss it .I believe this experience can change our lives and we can learn from these few weeks more than we did in the last couple of years.I am looking forward helping others ,but also learn from them.

Iulia: It is amazing that we have the chance to visit another country and this is beneficial to all of us, we will get to see/meet new people, a new style of living as well as a completely new culture. This will make as apreciate what we've got,more.

 Pete: One of the main reasons I really want to be apart of the Malawi tear fund trip is to really understand the struggles they encounter in their day to day lives and to be able to help out in any way I possible can and make a difference to their lives!
