Story
This September, I'm hitting the streets to support homeless young people by taking on a 10 mile sponsored walk in Manchester on Thursday 29th September.
The number of young people becoming homeless continues to rise, not least because of the cost of living crisis. Right now, thousands of young people are having to make heart-breaking choices. Where to sleep tonight whether buy food or pay their bills or if they can afford to continue studying.
Together with my colleagues from The Co-operative Bank, we want to raise £25,000 to give those young people a better future. That money could answer 375 calls to Centrepoint's Helpline, from 16-25 year olds who are afraid and in danger of homelessness. Or it could allow their Homelessness Prevention and Relief Team to support 60 young people in Manchester to escape homelessness and begin building a more positive future.
Thanks for your support. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a huge difference.
