Hi All,
On the 24th September 2023 The Cosby sisters are taking part in the Vitality London 10k race which guides participants through many of London's most famous landmarks with the finish line at Buckingham Palace! We're on a mission to raise as much money as possible for the INCREDIBLE Matt Hampson Foundation and we'd like to tell you why we need your help to support the brilliant things they do there.
In 2021 our awesome nephew Noah suffered a spinal cord injury after coming off his beloved dirt bike aged just 16. In that split second his life changed and the journey that's followed has been incredibly challenging. On his road to recovery he was introduced to 'The Matt Hampson Foundation' and ever since meeting the team there he's been a part of the foundation's strong and extraordinary family. He became a beneficiary which provides him expert physiotherapy, specialist personal training, support, mentoring and advice after suffering a life-changing injury through sport. The Get Busy Living Centre is a unique facility which opened its doors in 2018 and is the brainchild of founder and former England and Leicester Tigers rugby player Matt Hampson, who himself experienced a life-changing injury in 2005 leaving him paralysed from the neck down, aged just 20.
We want to help support them as they continue to support Noah. Matt and the foundation have shown him that life is not only worth living, it's amazing and we know that without them Noah wouldn't be as strong mentally & physically as he is today, continuing to push himself in every aspect of his life. Since his accident he's finished his schooling and aced his A-Levels, passed his driving test, travelled to Vietnam and has recently been accepted as a rookie driver with Team Brit Racing.
The Matt Hampson Foundation is solely funded by donations, and the impact they have on people who experience life changing injuries is invaluable. We've seen first hand the impact they have had on Noah's quality of life and how important it is to GET BUSY LIVING. Please support us to support them in enabling more people to benefit from the incredible work they do.
A message from Noah:
'I have no idea where I’d be without the hambo foundation. Being a part of the hambo family has been everything to me since my accident. It’s helped me find my confidence again and connect with amazing people. I’m beyond grateful for everything they have done and are doing, not just for me but everyone involved".
Thankyou so much for reading, sharing and donating to this cause.
Love
Ella, Zoe & Harriet x
