Story

As a Personal Trainer & an Online Coach it's literally my job as The DoTheWork Coach to help people feel better both physically and mentally. However in order to achieve this on a grander scale I had to think bigger. I took part in an event with Puregym, my former employers to support Mental Health and it left me wanting to do more.

This is an opportunity for me and my business to give back to a fantastic cause and to impact people who are struggling in a very different way that I can for my clients. I want to not only be able to help those that invest into my business but I want to help and support the wider community too. Most people that know me will know I like a challenge, I like to take things on that most wouldn't. If I chose an easy little charity event, it wouldn't quite have the same effect as a 7 day trek in Peru to Machu Picchu. When I do something, I want to go all out for it so here I am setting a big target of £5,000 for me to travel half way across the world to trek for 7 days, thousands of metres above sea level camping out in a tent carrying my bag the whole way.

I ask that you are generous to what you can afford in your donations, not for me, but for the people that the donation will impact but I'd by lying if I said I wouldn't use the fact I'd smashed my target to fire me up those mountains. I'm a bit of a stickler for targets, I don't like to miss, so please, find it in your heart to donate what you can afford to what is in my opinion, the most important problem we have to solve in the 21st Century and we have an opportunity here, me as the leader of this tough challenge and you as the donator to make a real difference.

Thank you for reading this and thank you for the donation should you do so. Do think of me camping in that tent as you sip your morning coffee from your cosy house!

My final request is this, if you know of someone, anyone else, who would love to make a difference with us, please share this link with them to allow them to contribute to this fantastic cause too.

Remember, together we can make a big difference, I'll do all the hard work, you just need to get your card out, in fact you probably don't even need to do that, it's probably remembered your details ;)
