Story
This amazing Charity has helped so many of my work family. After being on the Great British Sewing Bee in 2020 I have a few more followers on my instagram, and some other opportunities too!
Lockdown has been tough in so many different ways for all of us. Loneliness probably being one of the main things we have all struggled with. So I thought I'd organise some online FREE zoom classes during lockdown, and in return, but not essential, if you could make a donation, however small, to TASC that would be amazing!
I'm also giving a zoom talk to my local WI in April about my experience of being on the Sewing Bee. They will be be paying me £50 so this will be added here too.
If you would like me to do something similar for your WI group, or a craft group you can email me at thimbers.blog@gmail.com
If you fancy joining one of my Fabric First Aider 'sewcials' head over to my insta account where there is a link to book onto the classes through Eventbrite.

TASC, The Ambulance Staff charity is the leading UK charity working to support current and retired Ambulance Services personnel and their families, regardless of role, to enhance their mental and physical well-being during times of need. We offer timely, tailored, often multi-stranded, support to individuals and families, helping them to improve their circumstances. Increasingly, people are turning to us for help with multiple and complex needs; in 2018 the average number of hours of support we gave to each beneficiary was 9.8 hours.
