Thank you for helping patients at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre, young and old, get the best possible care. With your support, we can fund pioneering research, the latest cancer treatments & vital services - ranging from new innovations to the special touches that help to change lives.

Story

Women Against Cancer are a group of women from Merseyside and Cheshire, who have come together to support Clatterbridge Hospital.

We are tackling the challenge of raising the final £1million, 'The Fairy Million', towards the new state of the art Clatterbridge Cancer Hospital in Liverpool, as well as improving the Wirral site.  This will expand care to people with cancer across our region, improving access and providing gentler, more effective treatments for patients.

Women Against Cancer are on a mission to raise the final £1million needed for the New Cancer Hospital Appeal.

Astonishingly, one in two people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.  The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre aims to transform cancer care for our region, where the deaths from cancer are 20% higher than the national average.

The Fairy Million Campaign will raise funds to help deliver life changing support and pioneering new treatments to thousands of people in our region.  The new Clatterbridge Cancer Centre will provide specialist chemotherapy and other drug therapies, including immunotherapy, radiotherapy, inpatient and outpatient care, cancer support and rehabilitation, bone marrow transplant and urgent cancer care.  There will also be a dedicated teenage and young adult unit to provide the comfort and reassurance they need.

If you wish to help us raise the "Fairy Million" you can donate via this link - all donations however small are much appreciated and will go towards building Liverpool's first dedicated cancer hospital.
