Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Cancer Research UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

The event took place last Saturday in Yorkshire's 3 proudest mountains, Penyghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, covering a distance of 24 miles with 5000 feet of ascent. The walk was done in teams of 4 with 9 checkpoints to negotiate. Our teams were the Fenom Fliers and the Angels. Our aim was to complete the course within 12hours with all members finishing together. None of us are very fit and none of us had tried it before - but we hoped to raise lots of money for a very good cause.

We made it with an unofficial time of 12hrs and 5 minutes (unofficial because we were 5 mins late at the last check point) - but the key point is we made it!

So thank you for sponsoring us! (further donations always welcome)

P.S. my feet still hurt
