Story

Between April 2013 and March 2014, I am attempting to complete the two ‘toughest races on earth’ something I believe only 2 other people have ever achieved - with the added challenge I am doing them both in the same year. By racing 600km to the North Pole and running 260km in the Saharan desert, I will experience the two harshest environments on earth with temperatures ranging from -50c to +50c in my effort to raise £50,000 for the charity VSO. For more information, please go to www.fireandicechallenge.co.uk

100% of all money raised will go to VSO - none of the money from charity donations will go towards the costs of these challenges (funded through corporate sponsorship and my own wallet!). The money will help provide 2,500 people in the developing world build the skills to get jobs, support their families and contribute to their communities.

Please do support this challenge, or even better take part in a challenge of your own to raise money for VSO. See www.fireandicechallenge.co.uk/donations for more information.

Thank you!
