On 23rd April 2023 I will be running the London Marathon to raise money for a charity I have grown up with called Friends of the Elderly.  I am so scared and excited to be doing this and let me tell you this is WAY out of my comfort zone!!

Friends of the Elderly is a charity that runs care homes, day care services and a grant giving programme for older people living on low incomes throughout England.

They run care homes and day care services for older people including those living with dementia and memory impairment. They also provide grant for older people living on a low income and undertake projects that support older people to live fulfilled lives.

Their Winter Warmth Appeal 2022 provides vital grants to older people who are in poverty and can’t afford even the basic essentials. Your support can help them to buy food, warm clothes, pay for the heating and lighting and fund home repairs.
