Some of you will be aware that Tim's brother Andrew died suddenly of epilepsy in April 2005 aged only 46 leaving his wife Wendy and two daughters Lucy and Hannah. We had both thought about running the London Marathon for a number of years but like many others had not got round to it. Andrew's death gave us both the incentive we needed and we have both been very fortunate in securing places in the marathon running for Epilepsy Action, a very worthwhile cause who support the families of those who suffer or sadly die from epilepsy. We never really imagined that people could die from epilepsy but they do and more often than you think. We have now exceeded our target of £2500 but would like to raise as much as we can, so please contribute if you can. Thankyou for your fantastic support so far.

We are so touched that we are still getting donations after the race, it's brilliant to see that the total amount is continuing to increase and I don't think it's sunk in yet just what we've achieved! (apart from 2 black toenails-Sarah and a nasty blister- Tim and his disappointment at being beaten by a rhino, but NOT by Paddington bear!!)
