Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  My friends and I (Maz, Vanessa & Jude) are walking the Hadrians Wall 84 mile coast to coast for my great friend David who was recently diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease.

I’ve known David for over 25 years, he’s just ace! David has a hilarious sense of humour , makes us all laugh whenever we get together and always the one that takes hundreds of photographs on our families holidays that are such cherished memories ☺️

We’re raising funds to help support the fantastic group that he now attends in Beverley.  All funds raised are for the Hull & East Yorkshire Group. 

The Hull & East Yorkshire Group of the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association support local people like my friend David, living with MND, their families and carers. They provide advice, face-to-face meetings & importantly also provide advice on how to apply for financial grants to help provide adaptations to the home or improve quality of life. 

MND is a rapidly progressing disease which affects the brain and spinal cord. It attacks the nerves that control movement and eventually leaves people unable to move, communicate or breathe. Sadly there is no cure. 

Supporting David & those people living with MND and their families is now more important than ever so please help if you can. The Group is run entirely by volunteers who give their time freely to support local people. The Group rely on donations from the public and fundraising to continue their incredible work.

A note for David - Get ready ‘cause when I get back my feet will be ready for a good rub with that massage oil  ……I’ll treat you to a frappe in return!!! 😉
