Kennedys Disease UK have organised a Great Road Trip in 29 horsepower 36-year-old Citroen 2CV, from Los Angeles to Rome from April to July this year. The car will travel over 6,000 miles across the United States and Europe.

Kennedys Disease is a pernicious motor neuron disease that can very severely impact on sufferers muscular strength, nervous system, speech and swallowing.  Although classified as a rare disease recent research suggests it is much more prevalent than first thought and that it is frequently being misdiagnosed.  The Great Road Trip will help Kennedy Disease UK raise much needed funds for research into the Disease. With funding, the research community are confident a treatment, and even a cure, can be found.  All monies received will be very well spent.
