The Great Whyte Run

The Great Whyte Run · 25 April 2019
🌟UPDATE🌟
On the 17th of September my superhero passed away.
It’s been a rough few months and I’ve not been able to train as much I would’ve liked.
So... my dad is running the Glasgow half marathon on the 29.09.19 for MacMillian and he said he would include my campaign too. 😁😁
So, here we go!!
On October 5th 2018, my husband Chris came through our front door, fell to his knees and told me that he had a brain tumour and he wasn’t going to survive.
Fast forward 6months, we are back in Scotland, after Chris being treated in the Netherlands where we were posted, and being treated on a monthly basis by the Beatson hospital in Glasgow.
The facilities at this hospital are amazing for people and families who have been touched by cancer.
Our nurse and the team at the clinic we go to are so lovely and do an amazing job on a daily basis is, it really can’t be easy.
I want to do my bit and give back!!
So in my wisdom, I have decided to take up running!!
This year I’ll be taking part in a few events.
But... on the 6th of October, I’ll be running in the Inverness marathon. This will be a year and a day from Chris’s diagnosis. A significant milestone on our journey.
If you can spare a little cash for this amazing cause, it would mean so much to me, Chris and of course Amulree.
Much love 💕
