Story
In February 2021, I set myself a personal target of walking 1000 miles in 12 months. The first 500 miles have been a target of self-improving, after a few years of not doing enough for my own physical and mental health. I have now (July) completed the first 500. I will now walk 500 more, and I want to try and help benefit others in doing so.
I have chosen to support Dementia UK as dementia affects so many people and not just those that suffer from it directly, but the friends and family around those that suffer. Something that both my wife and I are very familiar with.
