42 Quilt Blocks for The 42 Challenge · 28 March 2021

The 42 Challenge
Campaign by Bowel Research UK (RCN 1186061)
42,000 people are diagnosed with bowel cancer in the UK each year. This Bowel Cancer Awareness Month, take on a challenge relating to the number 42. You could run 42 miles, bake 42 cakes or cycle for 420 minutes. What will your challenge be?

Story

Every year, 42,000 people are diagnosed with bowel cancer in the UK. I am taking on my own 42 Challenge this Bowel Cancer Awareness Month in aid of Bowel Research UK.  I will be sewing 42 unique quilt blocks,  completed squares of different fabrics sewn to a design, which can then be sewn into a quilt or cushions.

Please support my challenge by making a donation today. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure. Once you donate, they'll send money directly to the charity to help fund bowel research that saves and changes lives.

Sponsor a square with £5+ donation! If every quilt block gets sponsored, that would mean £210 towards vital research into Bowel Cancer and other gastrointestinal conditions.
