Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Two Challenges. Sponsor in the usual way if you think the challenges worthy. There is no maximum amount you can sponsor.

Alternatively be in with a chance to win a great prize. Read on...

On the 23rd of July I will take on the Outlaw Iron Distance Triathlon for the 4th time. Its a 2.4 mile swim, 112 miles cycle and 26.2 mile run. I've never done it quicker than 16hrs 33mins. No BMX this time and probably no fancy dress. I will race it as fast as my limited ability allows. I appreciate that may not be enough for you to part with your cash in sponsorship. I know you like a pound of flesh. This time I will run a sweepstake on my finish time. Only £5 per guess. As many guesses as you like for the chance to win one of nearly £1000 worth of prizes:

  • Entry to Outlaw 2018
  • A Half Day Sitting with Lee Bartlett at Underground Tattoo Tamworth
  • A Years Membership at Lifestyle Fitness Tamworth
  • The Little Silver Company Jewellery Voucher
  • Pair of Predator Flex Reactor Titanium Zoggs Goggles
  • Entry to SBR Events Longhorn Ultra 2018
  • Entry to Birmingham Marathon 2017

Take into account the following when making your guess:

  • Lack of training (look me up on Strava)
  • Limited ability
  • Previous finish times 16 hours 45 mins 2012 & 2013 (Morph), 16 hours 33 mins in 2015 (BMX)
  •  I can't guarantee I wont wear something silly at some point

To make a guess sponsor me £5 and let me know your time and you will be in with a chance to win. Guess from 13 hours to 17 hours in 1 minute intervals. No seconds please. You can also pick DNS if you think I won't make the start, DNF if you think I may fail on the day or DQ if you think I am going to get disqualified. Nearest guess gets first pick of the prizes and so on until they've all gone. In the event there is a tie ie. I finish at 13:15:30 with guesses of 13:15 & 13:16, the guess within the time wins - 13:15. No prize has a monetary value to cash in for. The finish time is the official time confirmed to me by Outlaw.

On the 23rd September I will take on the Equinox 24 Hour run for the 4th time. Its a 24 hour run on a 10km lap to run as many laps as I can in that time. I will be in a Morphsuit throughout. It's Midday 23rd until Midday 24th but as long as I start a last lap before Midday 24th I will be allowed to finish that lap. I've run for 25.5 hrs twice previously but never exceeded 12 laps. Equinox sweepstake details will follow after Outlaw but will be based on the amount of steps I do from Start to Finish according to whatever step counting gadget I use.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity. TEXT Donations ensure 100% goes to the charity.

I raise money for Birmingham Children's Hospital and their research and treatment of child brain tumours. Without them my niece, Poppy, would not be with us today. They've been looking after her for 12 years and she has had 4 brain operations, chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
