Well, it's not going to be that quick, if I'm honest. About 2 hours, I reckon...

On Sunday October 25th I’ll be putting on my running shoes and running a half marathon to raise money for our beloved Ilkley Playhouse. The Arts have been badly hit by the pandemic. 

Update (21/10/20)

Since initiating this charity run, the theatre has learnt that it has been awarded a grant to help tide it over the coming period. Although the funds I’m raising are a drop in the ocean, support is still very much needed to keep the theatre going through these uncertain times. So, I’m continuing to raise funds, because in the words of a famous supermarket, ‘Every little helps’. 

Thanks for supporting the local arts and contributing to keeping the lights on at the Ilkley Playhouse... a place that has given the local community so much over the decades.

I'll be running the Ilkley Half Marathon route... so feel free to cheer me along on race day! I’ll set off from Denton Road at 9am, so maybe see you there (socially distanced of course!).
