Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This project is so important to me and I cannot thank you enough for any support you are willing to give.  This is not my journey, but my dad's, and I hope a symbol to everyone that whatever happens you can still make it happen.  I believe that although my dad is not here to take the journey himself we can take him there in spirit, by taking each one of our steps with his positivity in our head and love in our hearts.  It was only through Oakhaven's care that my dad was able to stay true to himself right to the very end, not for one second doubting his glass was not half full, and for that I will never be able to thank them enough.  So please join with me in supporting this incredible hospice, in memory of a man who's kind, caring and joyful footsteps we should all strive to follow.

We are going to travel (by human steam i.e..run, walk, cycle etc.) the distance from my house, to heathrow, and then on to Cape Town, South Africa, which was where we planned to have Christmas together this year, over a time period of a year.  This means travelling 6106 miles between me and my two amazing friends Courtney Ferguson and Hannah Bicket, and doing 9km (5.6miles) every single day for the year if we were to split the distance equally.  We will be beginning our journey on the 3rd December 2016.
