On the 25th April 2008 we will be walking from Tottenham Hotspurs Football Club to CH City of London in memory of Ken Ford who sadly passed away on 25th October 2007. Ken was a respected and dedicated member of the department and will be greatly missed by his friends and colleagues.

£48 - would fund one ultrasound scan to detect heart problems in an unborn child.

£120 - would pay for 4 Heartstart UK training packs - essential for schools to teach pupils life saving skills.

£200 - funds one scientist for a day.

£500 - pays for a BHF nurse to spend time with 20 heart patients, checking medication and monitoring their progress in their own homes.

04/04/08 - 3 weeks to go!  £490 raised on line. Christopher Ford and Euan Stewart join the +7.5 mile walkers.

11/04/08 - 2 weeks to go £570 raised on line. Posters are up.

18/04/08 - 7 Days to go £780 raised on line - walkers are ready.

21/04/08 - 5 Days to go. £920 raised on line - can we reach £5,000? Kate Ford, Lauren Bailey, Chris Amor and Neil Silverman join the walkers.

23/04/08 2 Days to go £1435 raised on line. Jenny Straten joins the walkers. Fingers crossed for good weather on Friday!

25/04/08 -  TO DARE IS TO DO (THFC Motto) -  23 walkers completed the 7.5 miles (172 miles walked in total) on Friday 25th April. THFC were outstanding! Well done to all those who did the walk. A special thank you on behalf of all the walkers to Gary Heiss - superb photos. Its not too late to donate - the page will stay open until the end of June 2008. All monies up to this weekend have already gone to the BHF! Well done again!!

08/05/08 - Sponsorship forms (off-line donations) start to be collected - website updated - there are more to come!!

27/05/08 - Offline donations updated  (£504) - forms/amounts still to be collected.

28/05/08 - Offline donations updated (£994). We have broken the £3,000 barrier - keep the offline (forms) donations coming!

27/06/08 Offline donations = £2378.03 - what a fantastic effort by one and all. A big well done and  thank you to all those who walked, helped and supported. We all played a big part in getting this oustanding total and raising money for the British Heart Foundation - your support will help beat heart disease.
