Story

Made up of Lauren Elliott, Emma Somerville, Laura Edmunds, Julie
Smith, Sarah Stuart and Jennifer Young from law firm Ledingham Chalmers, team The LEDs Factor is taking part in Venture, The Apprentice-style fund raising challenge set by Charlie House.  Each team is given eight weeks to turn their employer’s gift of £100 into as much charitable finds as possible. All money raised will go directly to Charlie House’s Big Build Appeal for a specialist support centre which will be built in the grounds of Woodend Hospital, Aberdeen.

Charlie House supports children in the North East with complex disabilities and life-limiting conditions and their dream is to have a purpose-built specialist centre here in Aberdeen to provide planned and emergency short breaks, palliative and end-of-life care for children.
