About CALM: The Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is leading a movement against suicide, the single biggest killer of men under 45 in the UK. Our goal is a life less miserable for you, your friends, your family and for all men. About The Project: Theme Park Fan: The Musical is a massive collaboration project within the UK Theme Park Community. Written by Nick Hutson, Theme Park Fan: The Musical tells the story of Jamie who just wants to be accepted into the community and learns valuable lessons along the way.

Featuring a cast of over twenty fabulously talented people, Theme Park Fan The Musical will bring the Blackpool air to your home this year!

This Musical is being recorded remotely and follows all current government guidelines. Theme Park Fan: The Musical will be released at 7:30pm on Saturday 6th February 2021 on YouTube!

A message from Nick Hutson (writer of Theme Park Fan: The Musical)

If I were to rewind back to 2018 when I wrote the comedy song “I’m a Theme Park Fan”, I wouldn’t have thought that I’d be here now, two and a half life changing years later with you about to listen to a musical based around it.  I was always asked/told/forced to do the next version of the song - but I couldn’t write another song like it… could I? Turns out, I could… so I wrote 16 more.  

From working with the amazingly talented Owen Evans and Ryan Nixon on basic song and script ideas in the spring and summer of 2020 - to working with over 20 people (including amazing director Dylan Lee and a fab cast) in the winter of 2020/21, we all truly believe that we’ve created the largest (and most immersive) community event made for and by the UK Theme Park Community.  

This has been recorded remotely - so please forgive us - we’ll all be back together soon, in Spoons, to have better times.  Until then… let Blackpool come to you and enjoy Theme Park Fan - The Musical.
