Story
A crack team of the UK's wobbliest, booziest and most distressingly unfit reprobates is about to take on an endurance challenge branded as the 'toughest event on the planet.'
Not since the days of conscription when our forefathers went over the top have a less prepared, undertrained group of individuals stormed a muddy field with such low odds. Casualties are inevitable.
They honourably fought for their country. We too fight for a valiant and worthwhile cause.
SMALL STEPS PROJECT is a humanitarian organisation dedicated to supporting children around the world who live on rubbish dumps under intolerable conditions and survive from scavenging.
They deliver shoes, hygiene kits and emergency aid to protect children in this hostile and unforgiving environment, followed by more sustainable projects to enable kids to take small steps off rubbish dumps and into education.
It is a very worthwhile charitable cause and could very much do with your support. Check out the website - http://www.smallstepsproject.org. Check out the films. Picture a young person you know living in those circumstances and then please donate.
The final team members putting their bodies the line are yet to be confirmed. I will update shortly.
