My friends and I are doing a 10km 'Starlight Walk' to raise funds for Woodlands Hospice.

The Hospice is in the grounds of Fazakerly Hospital.

My Dad, Joseph Coakley was cared for there for 4 weeks prior to him passing away in November 2011, and this is my way of saying 'Thank You' and to give back a little to show my appreciation for what they did for him and my family.  

Its such a lovely place and they do an amazing job.  The Woodlands Hospice rely on donations to carry on the wonderful work that they do. 

So with the help of my friends Lesley, Sharon and her mum (Sandra), Bev,Julie, Joan and Barbara we are attempting the 'Starlight Walk', to help raise funds for them. 

Which should be fun, especially if we have to keep up with Bev :-) x
