Virgin London Marathon 2010 · 25 April 2010 ·

Kisharon Langdon offers education, opportunity and support for people within the Jewish learning disability and autism community throughout life’s journey. The education and supported living services, innovative social enterprises and employment support services enable everyone we support to thrive.

Story

I have now completed the London Marathon in support of Kisharon. I managed to complete the run in 4 hours and 23 minutes (although it seemed longer!).  We would like to extend our deepest and heartfelt thanks to all our generous friends who have donated to this worthy cause through sponsoring me for the run.

Established more than 30 years ago, Kisharon is an inspirational Charity that provides education and care for children and adults with physical and learning difficulties, providing special educational needs. These individuals and their families will require ongoing support throughout their lives. They cannot cope without this support. Today, Kisharon provides a broad portfolio of services and is able to support individuals and their families at each and every stage their life.

I am proud to say that my wife Karen works as a Physio at Kisharon, sees - and is involved in - the work first hand.  The Charity is therefore close to our hearts, and we know what a difference the funds make. I am personally matching any donations pound for pound.

Many thanks,

Theo
