Youth First is a registered charity (no.1195386) which runs a free-to access youth service across the London Borough of Lewisham, thanks to the generous support of organisations and private donors . Youth First provide all year round after-school and holiday provision (daytime)delivered in youth clubs and safe spaces. The charity runs projects , 1:1 work, targeted and themed based informal education for young people that live, go to school/college in the borough of Lewisham.

During my teen years I attended a youth Centre on a regular basis. Going to a youth Centre provided me with a platform to grow by exposing me to opportunities and also connected me to different experiences I probably would not have accessed otherwise. At such a pivotal stage of my life the support I received was life changing. 

In the current financial climate many youth centres are struggling to stay afloat . I am raising funds for Youth First because I have seen firsthand  what a difference the work they do makes  within the community  and more importantly to the lives of children and young people who access their services.
