Story
Hi everyone! My name is Theodore and I am 5 years old. During this lockdown period I have decided I would like to raise some money for our brilliant NHS.
Therefore I’ve set myself the challenge of virtually climbing Mount Everest! I’ll be completing a total of 58,070 steps to reach the summit! That’s the equivalent of 3871 flights of stairs.
Each day I hope to climb at least 1000 steps with the aim of completing the challenge in 6-8 weeks. I’ve drawn a mountaineer to track my progress so you’ll be able to see him climb higher as I post regular updates.

The challenge I will undertake will hopefully raise money for PPE & other required equipment for NHS workers through the Covid-19 Urgent Appeal. While this is the primary focus of my challenge, it should be mentioned that there are many other front line workers out there doing an outstanding job; supermarket staff, delivery workers, MoD, Police, Firefighters, school staff to name a few.
