Fundraising for Reach, Association for Children with Upper Limb Difference
Growing up with an upper limb difference can be challenging and lonely. I’m 45 and I’ve never met anyone who is the same as me. About 20 years ago I saw someone with an upper limb difference in a bar. But that’s the only time, once in my life. It’s not surprising that I’ve struggled to feel like I fit in, or that I’m accepted.
REACH provides support to children and their families, to help them navigate many of the challenges but also to connect people with upper limb differences. Something I think would have really helped me to feel less alone and different.
